Sony begins to market the SRG-X40UH PTZ camera in Europe

Sony has begun marketing its compact camera in Europe SRG-X40UH. This is the latest addition to their line of PTZ cameras., ideal for remote communication and monitoring functions in sectors such as corporate, educational or health.
As we already mentioned in Digital AV Magazine, This camera was announced in April and presented at the last edition of ISE. This equipment adopts the image sensor CMOS Exmor R 4K and offers high quality images in 4K, plus powerful zoom capability with a wide viewing angle, and UVC and HMI connectivity. With an interface connection, It is easy to connect and is used in many live video applications, including web conferencing, with a simple self-install USB-C cable connection.
By combining Clear Image Zoom technology of up to 40x in FHD and 30x in 4K, and a viewing angle of 70º, The SRG-X40UH offers natural color reproduction and high sensitivity to capture facial and other details during remote communications, even in poor lighting.
Fast motion PTZ with ceiling mount option allows this camera to capture important scenes in different locations, from small conference rooms to large auditoriums.
The SRG-X40UH with its simple UVC and HDMI connections, and its compatibility with PoE+, can be integrated into existing systems with minimal wiring and is remotely controlled using a VISCA/VISCA command over IP.
