The Park of Cultures and Mother Earth offers a pioneering initiative, created by Avanzia, that uses immersive technology and QR codes to highlight Bolivian cultural heritage in a leisure space.

Built on a surface of 53.000 m2 in La Paz, the Park of Cultures and Mother Earth -belonging to the State Cable Transport Company Mi Teleférico, as part of the land given to the old railway station- is a pioneering initiative carried out in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) To show the story, Fauna and botany most representative of the five major macro areas of the country.

The park is organized into three main areas: the Plaza de las Culturas, the Taypi and PToilet Macro Regions, that are interrelated through cultural expressions determined by territorial configuration and diversity, that allow visitors to tour a wide range of samples from the Amazon to the Altiplano.

As a result,, Visitors can listen to the narration of each zone with auralized sound, which is combined with 360° images of a large selection of fauna and botany of the country so that they can be photographed with them thanks to immersive technology and share the images with family and friends.

This experience is complemented by the rest of the park's leisure activities, Like the Dancing Light Fountain Show, cultural dance performances and spaces dedicated to traditional handicrafts.

As pointed out by Avanzia, "This pioneering cultural initiative in Bolivia is the beginning of a new museographic discourse, that allows the enhancement of heritage in any type of space, offering an immersive and fully didactic and experiential experience for all audiences".
