The challenge was to respond to the original estimate of the mounting depth and the panels., In addition to specifying the materials needed to join three screens at continuous angles. The wall protruded 5 centimeters on each side.

Ideum collaborated with Peerless-AV to develop a design that fit the client's vision and that, at the same time, Mechanically robust outside. This manufactured the custom dvLED mounting solution for the Unilumin screens so that they will provide the necessary stability for this installation.

“Peerless-AV's team of dvLED experts was able to solve all the challenges posed by this installation”, Says George Hardebeck, Senior Producer of Experience Engineering at Ideum. “Their end-to-end advice minimized on-site issues “.

Ideum collaborated with Peerless-AV to make the three dvLED panels work successfully. Instead of opting for a curved solution, Designed and manufactured a video wall mounting system Seamless Bespoke dvLED to fit into the three-faceted walls. Each panel was joined in the center and then fanned at a 152° angle to the sides..

Design Response

The challenge was to achieve a perfect corner aligned with the wall structure and, therefore, The spacing of the videowall was essential.

To fix it, Peerless-AV designed bespoke wall adapters to fill the gap. Custom spacers, along with X-axis adjustment, and, z, Inherent in the assembly of the bracket manufacturer provided the precision and micro adjustment necessary to overcome these irregularities of the installation and achieve the desired result, with precise pixel alignment.

The mounting system was designed so that it would not deviate more than L/360, meaning it was extremely rigid, with a maximum total bending of 1/8″ at a distance of 10′.

The finished videowall measures 2,5 meters high by 1,8 width, with concave facets of 152 Degrees, to create a captivating visual experience for museum visitors and those passing by the glass façade. The screens used are Unilumin Uslim II from 500×1.000 Mm, 272 Modules and configuration in 17×2.

“Collaboration with the Peerless-AV and Ideum teams demonstrated how teamwork can create a visual experience. We were all excited about the way the screen came to life through the process.”, Said Ryan Wilhelm, Midwest Senior Sales Director, Unilumin USA.
