Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of its new kiosk model, the KMC-W. An updated version for Windows, incorporating an interactive display of 24 inches and brings greater software compatibility to self-service display technology for the food and beverage industries, Retail, Travel & Healthcare.

Based on Windows operating system 10 IoT Enterprise, the KMC-W, which was presented at the last edition of Ise (more information at Digital AV) expands Samsung Kiosk operating system support to meet customer needs in various business environments.

Equipped with processor 11th Gen Intel Core, Delivers high-performance computing power and full compatibility with all major ordering applications, Point of Sale & Property Management Systems.

The display comes equipped with various CPU options (including a selection of Intel Celeron 6305E processors, Core i3 or Core i5), as well as fast DRAM memory 8 GB and a 256 GB for larger storage capacity.

Also noteworthy is the case of the contract catering company Duck Donuts Powered by Grubbrr using Samsung Kiosks based on the Tizen operating system.

The company's rollout improved the shopping experience in 30 of its stores in the U.S., Increasing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. With custom orders and easy-to-read menus, Duck Donuts was able to strengthen its customer relationships and increase revenue.
