At the InfoComm, Samsung Electronics The Wall, Inc. Inc. today unveiled its new The Wall display for virtual production and its complete QxC Crystal UHD Signage line..

Samsung Electronics took advantage of his attendance at the Infocomm fair 2023, that closed its doors last Friday, to unveil a new line of digital signage. Among the new features announced is the new virtual production screen The Wall IVC, as well as a complete range made up of 20 New models in the Series QxC Crystal UHD Signage.

The Wall Virtual Production LED Display offers options with a pixel pitch of P1.68 and P2.1, Dedicated Studio Frame Frequencies (23,976, 29,97 and 59,94 hz) and genlocking, that can synchronize it with a camera's video signal.

It also features a refresh rate of up to 12.288 hz, A maximum brightness of 1.500 Nits, A fixed contrast ratio of 35.000:1 (for P2.1) and wide viewing angles of up to 170 Degrees.

All of these new features combine to deliver an unprecedented level of image quality in virtual content.

The Wall for Virtual Production is based on modular technology, allowing for a variety of installation options for different production environments and needs, from a perfectly flat screen to a 6,000R curvature. It can also be hung or stacked with other screens and is designed to resist the dust and particles common to these types of spaces.

The Virtual Production Management Solution (VPM) Integrated display and intuitive interface make it easy to manage the display and deliver the highest image quality.

To display colors as accurately and consistently as possible, The Wall features 3D lookup tables (Lut) for color correction, Wide-spectrum HDR color processing and color adjustment between cabinets or individual modules. The VPM is also capable of detecting and resolving any potential LED-related issues.

At InfoComm, Samsung has collaborated with Lux Machina, pioneer in virtual production and ICVFX (In-Camera Visual Effects), to show The Wall for virtual production in real use.

Lux Machina has implemented such technology in television series such as The Mandalorian and House of the Dragon, as well as in the broadcasting of events such as the League of Legends World Championship, NFL Honors and The ACM Awards.

In addition to The Wall, Samsung presented its full range at InfoComm, made up of 20 new models, QxC Crystal UHD Signage Series,. The displays incorporate significant design and performance enhancements to deliver high performance and image quality in any commercial environment.

The QxC range includes five displays QHC with 700 nits of brilliance (75, 65, 55, 50 and 43 Inch), Eight Screens QMC with 500 nits of brilliance (98, 85, 75, 65, 55, 50, 43 and 32 Inch) and seven screens QBC with 350 nits of brilliance (98, 85, 75, 65, 55, 50 and 43 Inch).

The bezels of the QxC Series displays are consistent and uniform on all four sides, using the same thickness and dimensions to create a symmetrical design. VESA mounting holes are in the center to ensure secure mounting. The series has 28,5 mm thick, which means it's a 40% Thinner than the previous model.

All QxC displays offer a new easy and intuitive user interface, 4K UHD resolution, Tizen 7.0 for optimized web service performance and durability. SmartView+ wirelessly connects displays to up to six devices at once, while anti-glare panels minimize light reflection for an unobstructed viewing experience.

In addition, all QxC models have an Eco sensor that can detect the brightness of the environment and optimize it.

Samsung has also unveiled the IAC all-in-one LED display, a Full HD LED display of 130 Inch, with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Its pre-assembled frame kit allows it to be installed by simply hanging it on the wall.

The all-in-one LED display has a slim design of 56 Mm (until 64 mm with the Slim Fit wall mount). Provides 1.000 nits of peak brightness and a refresh rate of 3.840 hz, which translates into great video quality.

The built-in Samsung S-Box supports built-in media playback and Microsoft 365, offering the latest business tools to get the most out of the large LED display in business environments.

Carbon Footprint Certification

On the other hand, Samsung Electronics has announced that its range 2023 Smart Signage has obtained a number of certifications for environmentally friendly products from institutes in Germany and the United States.
