DAS Audio responds to the acoustic challenges of an electronic and urban music club

the NAO Poll Club of Marbella has been updated with an infrastructure equipped with the technology of DAS Audio, made up of 11 Event-26A and 12 Artec-322S models, Artec-508-W and Artec-506.

Before the upgrade, NAO was equipped with multiple small format sound systems, distributed throughout the premises to minimize noise pollution to neighbors. This approach, although suitable in contexts where background sound is sufficient, Like in a restaurant, could not meet the needs of an electronic and urban music club.

When the SPL Audiosistemas team started with the design, They were very clear that for the main system they would use equipment in array format that would ensure controlled and coherent coverage., minimizing possible cancellations and avoiding sound leakage to the outside of NAO.

As the main sound system, four Event-26As per side installed, that offer a maximum power of 800 W and a frequency response ranging from 76 to the 19 khz.

These two-way systems feature a 1.75" coil compression motor and two 6.5" transducers., which allows to offer a dynamic response and an optimal clarity in the sound, In addition, were used 3 More units for a central channel, ensuring perfect coverage in the front area of the cab.

For lower frequencies, Two subwoofer units have been installed Artec-322S, a high-power equipment with a frequency response of 37 Hz to 300 Hz and a maximum power of 3.200 W, equipped with two speakers of 12 inches to produce deep, powerful bass.

In the pool area have been located four units of the model Artec-5080-W that serve as an extension of the main sound system. These white two-way speakers, with a maximum power of 1200 watts and a frequency response of 60 Hz to 20 khz, They feature an 8" low frequency speaker and a 1.4" compression engine, ensuring a balanced and clear sound, complementing these, In the restaurant area were installed two units of the model Artec-506. The white color of these speakers is integrated with the aesthetics of the place.

Thanks to the installation carried out by SPL Audiosistemas, NAO Pool Club has improved sound quality and overall experience, achieving an increase in sound pressure and a significant reduction in external noise.
