Set in the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside (United Kingdom), The Heythrop Park Warner is a luxury hotel whose architecture dates from the eighteenth century. The Heythrop team turned to Illuminate Design, An audiovisual provider specialized in hospitality, to monitor the specification of all AV elements for The Late Lounge and The Theatre.

The distributor, L-Acoustics certified supplier, Audiotek, known for his audio designs in live music and hospitality venues such as Las Vegas' Wet Republic and Omnia clubs around the world, responded to Illuminate's audio tender.

Audiotek used modeling software Soundvision from L-Acoustics to design a customized solution with precise speaker placement, ensuring a captivating audio experience for guests and maintaining the historic integrity and aesthetic appeal of the venue.

Each space was precisely modeled to create a design that handles noise spillage to protect those sleeping above a space for evening events..

"We chose the L-Acoustics A-Series for its vertical and horizontal control and size-to-volume ratio", Explains Christopher Kmiec, director of Audiotek in the UK. "We knew we would get concert-quality sound with consistent, exceptional audio quality every time".

The sound system designed by Audiotek for Late Lounge consisted of three A10i left/right pendants in a combination of Wide and Focus models. Four complementary subwoofers KS21i have been recessed under the stage.

A coaxial box X8 Used for central filling, while two others are used for side filling and two X12 provide delayed fill. The system is powered by five amplified controllers LA4X.

In The Theatre space, left/right system includes four A10i Focus per side with four KS21i subwoofers placed next to each set. An X8 is used for central padding, while four X12s are available to monitor the stage. Four LA4X amplified controllers power the entire system, while an additional LA4X is available for stage monitors.
