For eight seasons with 73 episodes, Game of Thrones won 272 awards around the world, becoming a cultural phenomenon and a role model for future epic recreations of the fantasy genre.
After the conclusion of the last season, Linen Mill Studios aimed to recreate an immersive and visually striking experience that would attract the series' large number of fans to participate in the tour and relive their favorite moments from Game of Thrones. The sets not only needed to be authentic, but the quality of the immersive images was essential to the success of the tour.
To ensure that the experience of this production stays alive, have been installed 15 Panasonic 4K 1-Chip DLP projectors throughout the tour, as well as close to 50 professional interactive displays from the same manufacturer, which include models of 55 a 98 inches.
Better color reproduction from Panasonic projectors lets Game of Thrones studio tour visitors feel like they're on the set, since its projectors show a great level of detail, realism and color, when projected onto any surface, even in the typical irregular environments that have become a symbol of the series.
Projectors and screens have been installed throughout the entire route so that the sets and environments are as realistic as possible and do not detract from the visitor's overall experience.. This is possible thanks to the range of flexible installation solutions offered by Panasonic., such as ultra short distance optics, that allow visitors to get closer to the content without casting shadows.
In addition to Panasonic projectors, There are other technologies from this manufacturer within the space that range from more compact projectors to professional screens. Some of these technologies are integrated into the designs of the sets to hide the magic, while others are interactive screens.

Panasonic 1-Chip DLP 4K projectors have also been chosen for their reputation and reliability, with a maintenance-free life of up to 20.000 hours, in fixed installations. This allows museums and attractions, like the Game of Thrones Studio Tour, maximize visit time.
