Airtame at GZA

The solutions of Airtame allow the staff of GZA GeoEnvironmental Screen share and video conferencing from any device or platform, No need for complicated logins or IT support.

Airtame at GZAFor a company like GZA GeoEnvironmental, a Norwood-based geotechnical and environmental engineering consultancy, Massachusetts, with 32 offices and more than 650 employees across the U.S., Meetings are a daily necessity. That is why they are implementing the Airtame's Video Conferencing & Screen Sharing SaaS Solution. They already have 22 Fully equipped and operational meeting rooms, and the installation of 39 Rooms in total.

According to Paul Malagrifa, CIO of GZA GeoEnvironmental, Airtame has transformed its operations by enabling a single meeting process for all users, regardless of devices or platforms, almost completely eliminating the need for on-demand IT.

“When we started returning to our offices after a brief period of remote work related to COVID, The nature of our daily communication had changed, But our offices don't. We had already stopped relying on in-room PCs for face-to-face meetings with Airtame's original solution, But we couldn't find an equally simple solution for hybrid meetings.".

They were looking for a solution that would allow them to carry out Hybrid BYOD Meetings and eliminate logins and other challenges that come with switching between Zoom, Meets, Teams or GoToMeeting. "And the first product we tried was an unmitigated failure. Then Airtame came along 2 and Airtame Hub, And we haven't looked back since.", adds Malagrifa.

User Experience

The use of Airtame technology for face-to-face meetings had been very well received, So they decided to implement them for virtual and hybrid meetings as well.

"What we want are conference rooms that don't require live computer assistance. As we expand Airtame to all offices, We can get hybrid meetings up and running quickly and easily, and even provide the same experience to customers or partners who visit us and have their own presentations to share.", says Paul Malagrifa.

Secure Hosting from Any Device

The best thing about screen sharing with Airtame is that it's totally device-agnostic, so it can be used with virtually any digital display, PC, Mobile Device & Online Collaboration Platform.

As part of its initiative to introduce ease of use and improved security, Airtame has recently introduced a new web-based Share From Browser feature that allows users to start meetings without needing to download preloaded software or apps.

To use Share From Browser, users simply need to connect to the local WiFi network and follow the on-screen instructions to launch the Airtame Browser web app on their personal device.

Below, They can choose to share their entire desktop or a specific browser tab or window, No need to re-enter personal usernames or passwords. This also improves security by eliminating the need to transfer data or files between devices and limiting opportunities for bad actors to gain access to internal systems.

In addition to offering streamlined meeting capabilities, Airtame has also enabled GZA to simplify its internal IT operations through a cloud-based management interface that provides information and access to every connected Airtame device with the ability to initiate software updates.

Since the company does not have full-time IT staff in each office, This has been a great help in ensuring consistency of operations and accessibility.

Digital signage

GZA is exploring how Airtame's powerful digital signage features can be used to provide in-office messaging to welcome customers or promote ongoing successes. Any digital display connected to these solutions can be used as a digital signage board with cloud-based control, enabling centralized, real-time management.

“One of the main advantages of working with Airtame is the constant improvements to the product and the software updates they provide, including the recent launch of Share From Browser and native integration with Microsoft Calendar and Google Calendar. Even if we don't use all the features, It's encouraging to know that the company is constantly making its product more valuable and user-friendly, instilling confidence that it will continue to serve our needs as they change based on new industry expectations.", concludes Paul Malagrifa.
