AIDA Imaging incorporates an automatic tracking system into its PTZ cameras

The new software that AIDA Imaging has included in its cameras uses facial recognition to automatically track people. Besides, includes the ability to adjust and lock the position and scale of the lens, and switch between different people who are near the main objective.

AIDA Imaging has launched software that transforms the way automated tracking is experienced in the latest models in its line of PTZ cameras.

With the use of facial recognition through artificial intelligence, The brand has managed to simplify and improve the automatic tracking function without the need to manually control the Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ). Users should ensure that the target is visible and only in the frame for optimal automatic tracking (auto tracking).

One of the key features of this new system includes the ability to adjust and lock the position and scale of the target, in addition to being able to switch between different people who are near the main objective. It also allows you to set pan and tilt limits for the cameras to delimit the area in which they will work.. An important quality that enhances the flow when working with several cameras simultaneously, automating the work area of ​​each one individually.

It's software, focused on automatic tracking, promises to improve user experience, offering a tool when using PTZ cameras in video conferences, events and live broadcasts.

Until now, only three AIDA Imaging models, brand that distributes Pinnacle Group, can perform software update: PTZ-NDI3-X20, PTZ4K-ANDI-X12 and PTZ4K-ANDI-X30.

The PTZ-NDI3-X20 features built-in OSD controls, PoE compatibility (power over ethernet) and a 20x optical zoom. It also allows you to capture vibrant images at resolutions up to 1080p, with support up to 120 fps over HDMI and NDI|HX3 over IP.

The PTZ4K-NDI-X12 model has 12x optical zoom and can stream up to UHD 4K60 over HDMI and IP/NDI|HX y, simultaneously, up to UHD 4K60 via HDMI and USB-C 3.0. Besides, includes a temporal noise reduction filter with motion compensation, which allows noise reduction without blur. Finally, there is the PTZ4K-NDI-X30, with the same qualities of the previous model, but with a 30x zoom.
