The sound of Kgear surrounds the spaces of the Mercure Miri Malaysia hotel

With a harmonious combination of professional audio and hotel interior design, the new sound system Kgear, brand of K-array, is based on the compact GF82 loudspeakers and the GP18 column model.

The installation covers several areas of the hotel, such as the lobby and the adjoining cafeteria, plus the ballroom and rooftop restaurant and bar. In the first space there are now four Kgear GF82 ultra-compact speakers, of 8×2 inches, fed by a GA201 amplifier of this brand of K-array.

In the ballroom, called Terabai Grand Ballroom and with capacity for two hundred people, has been installed GP18 and GP18A column system, in which each system combines a powerful 18” subwoofer with three modular 8” linear array elements.×2” to offer a 140° horizontal dispersion angle, which guarantees optimal sound coverage for the events held there.

The GP18 column sound system is complemented by the model GP8A by Kgear, a smaller and more portable variant from the manufacturer that provides more flexibility and versatility for the different events held in this space.

Located on the roof of the hotel, the restaurant and bar Cavakita It has eighteen Kgear GF82 speakers, two GS18 subwoofers for bass reinforcement, and a GP8A column array, along with an amplifier GA43 and two GA201 to power the entire system.
