Elation Proteus Radius: redefining high impact lights

This IP66 Beam FX equipment, Powered by an SSPC motor, has been designed by Elation to be used indoors or outdoors and is presented as an important leap forward in the field of high-impact beam lighting that offers great possibilities for creativity.

Elation Professional has launched a new generation of high impact beam lights with the model Proteus Radius, a compact high intensity luminaire IP66 Beam FX Powered by a converted solid-state phosphor light engine (SSPC).

Offers a wide range of creative possibilities, projecting narrow and very powerful beams that reach great distances. Your SSPC light engine 100 W emits an intense beam of 0,9 degrees that breaks through with great brilliance, even across vast expanses of space. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, Powerful beams are combined with a full complement of design features allowing designers to compose stunning aerial effects with ease.

What differentiates the Proteus Radius is its SSPC engine, which produces a dense beam similar to that of a laser, but without the associated risks or regulatory challenges. Certified for use in worldwide environments, does not require safety inspections and can be used without the need for a variance (permission).

The SSPC motor is very efficient and produces little heat, in addition to having a long-lasting lamp (10.000 hours), reducing replacement and maintenance costs.

Its robust aluminum housing and advanced marine-grade coating provide high durability and protection against the elements. Thanks to its IP66 rating and compact design, Radius offers a great solution for creativity.

The horizontal and vertical movement of 360 Endless degrees allows you to create animations that fill any space, while the included effects pack includes a wide variety of possibilities. With two gobo wheels housing a selection of 13 rotating/indexable interchangeable metal gobos and 29 printed static metallics, Designers have a wide range of creative aerial possibilities.

Besides, Radius offers four prisms split between two overlapping planes to split beams in virtually unlimited combinations for eye-catching antennas. Prism macros included for easy programming. Double frost softens light when needed, while the dimming is very smooth, no flicker.

Mixing CMY color and a color wheel 25 positions offer virtually unlimited options, a system that is lightning fast for immediate color transitions and instant jumps. Transitions and motorized focus ensure pinpoint accuracy. Light can be manipulated further using the digital shutter and strobe.
