Lenovo names Matt Dobrodziej president of EMEA

With immediate effect, Matt Dobrodziej takes over as President of EMEA Lenovo, under the direction of Francois Bornibus from 2017, with the aim of promoting the growth and transformation of the company in one of the most growing regions of its business.

The new president of Lenovo EMEA, Matt Dobrodziej, replaces in this responsibility Francois Bornibus, who has run the business in this market since 2017 and “has been instrumental in establishing the company as a leading and trusted technology provider throughout the region”.

From Lenovo they appreciate the work of Bornibus, who will continue for a while to guarantee a smooth transition, during these years “in which he laid solid foundations for future growth, establishing its advancement beyond the PC and into services and solutions; building its infrastructure business and driving rapid growth in mobile, while consolidating the leadership of the EMEA PC business as number one by market share, for more than two years”.

With a successful career that includes strategic functions in Lattice Semiconductor as corporate vice president and almost a decade in AMD directing global strategic accounts, Matt Dobrodziej brings a wealth of experience and vision for the future “to drive growth and transformation from Lenovo in EMEA, leveraging the product portfolio, services and solutions to meet the unique needs of diverse markets and clients”.
