Blaze Audio has announced the BL18S high power passive subwoofer, designed by speaker designer Hugh Sarvis.

This model completes the company's CBL series and is designed to integrate with the constant beamwidth speakers CBL523 y CBL528, providing a full-range audio system that improves sound quality and performance for small and medium-sized venues requiring scalable and versatile low-frequency solutions.

Mainly designed for independent facilities, The BL18S features a bass driver 18 inches housed in a reflex-loaded cabinet, offering low frequency bandwidth of up to 31 Hz a -10 dB, with maximum sound pressure levels that reach 136 dB at one meter.

Besides, The subwoofer comes equipped with optional wheels that can be placed on the rear panel, which makes it easier to handle and install in hybrid locations.

For optimal performance, The BL18S should only work with Blaze Audio PowerZone Connect amplifiers, from 3000 W, and with the appropriate speaker presets configured.

Multiple BL18S subwoofers can be installed in arrays and configured via amplifier presets to offer cardioid or omnidirectional directivity characteristics, ensuring optimal sound distribution.
