Federico Haba

After almost two decades at NEC and Sharp, the latter company in which in the last five years he was in charge of its display division, Federico Haba now joins Leyard Europe as Iberian Territory Head.

Federico Haba has acknowledged on LinkedIn that he feels “absolutely impatient and excited to join an ambitious project, leader in innovation and evolution of Visual Display technologies, and especially dominant and pioneer in DvLED, where it is at the forefront in fine pitch and micro LED, with more than 900 registered patents, including +65 a Micro LED”.

Leyard is one of the great references in the visualization sector. According to Omdia, in the last quarter of 2025 was positioned as number 1 in market share in the market in FFP (<2mm) in Western Europe, achieving third position in the total market in Western Europe.

It should be noted that this position in the market is the result of the company's organic growth.. In November 2015, Leyard acquired the American Planar Systems, through its subsidiary Leyard American Corporation. In May 2018, Leyard and Planar Systems acquired German LED display manufacturer Eyevis.

Haba has stated that he is “looking forward to knowing first-hand all the solutions, visiting the factory and offices in Prešov (Slovakia) in a first week that promises to be exciting. Having a production plant in Europe allows us to offer fast and efficient delivery times in an increasingly demanding market.. Impatient to contribute my grain of sand, and meet my new colleagues in a fantastic team, to continue consolidating Leyard's leadership in Europe”.
