GOT615-801, new panel PC with 15.6" touch screen and ultra-flat design

The manufacturer of industrial and embedded systems and components, Axiomtek, has launched a new panel PC with 15.6" TFT touch screen, With an ultra-flat design and a 14 mm thick, Ideal for infotainment applications.

Axiomtek, company represented in Spain by Anatronic, has announced the GOT615-801, a new panel PC with TFT WXGA touch screen (1366 X 768) 15.6". This ultra-slim model, with a framework of 14 mm thick, It has a sleek IP65 aluminum design and eliminates the need for a fan to offer a robust and stylish solution in infotainment and automation applications. The GOT615-801 integrates an Intel Atom D525 processor from 1.8 GHz with Intel ICH8M chipset for excellent computing performance with minimal power consumption.

To respond to the requirements of use in public spaces, the GOT615-801 features a robust mechanical design and an IP65 front panel (waterproof and anti-dust) that prevents the "deterioration" of the system. This Panel PC operates in the temperature range of -5 to +45 C.

15.6" resistive touchscreen allows users to "interact" with the unit even if they are wearing gloves. This is ideal in Human Machine Interface applications (HMI).

WLAN antenna

The GOT615-801 includes a PCIe Mini Card slot and a fixed rotating WLAN antenna (optional) for connecting wireless networks. Like this, simply connect the WLAN Mini Card for instant LAN access / GPRS / GSM / 3G wireless for free.

This low-power panel PC also stands out for its connectivity through an RS-232/422/485, two RS-232, one 2.5" SATA HDD bay, two Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0, VGA and audio port.

The main features are completed with shock and vibration resistance (up to 2G for CompactFlash), VESA ARM Installation Kit, DDR3 SODIMM jacks 204 Pin (for up to 4 GB) and support for Windows CE.NET operating systems, Windows XP Embedded (XPE), Windows 7 and Linux.
