'Cançons Visuals' shows the pictorial process of creating a painting through the analysis of a song in real time and interactivity from the movement of the viewer. An experience in which the visitor feels like a conductor of virtual brushes.

The Volta Cancons Visuals

The artistic center La Volta de Girona has just inaugurated the interactive installation Cançons Visuals by the artist Xavi Bové, a show that can be visited until the day 23 December in the space located in the Sant Narcís neighborhood of Girona and which seeks to create a link between the songs and their visual representations.

The visitor chooses a song and makes his personal pictorial representation by choosing brushes and a chromatic palette. Interactivity is given by the analysis of sound in real time and the movement of the viewer's body while the music is played.. Finished the interpretation, the visitor, artist of the piece, you can take your printed work.

in parallel, and even the 4 January 2016, you can visit in the same space La Volta an exhibition that shows printed works in large format created by other spectators.

The Volta Cancons Visuals

The interactive installation Cançons Visuals is inspired by the work of artists who have represented the sound and emotions they generate in their visual works such as the painters Vasili Kandinsky and Robert Delaunay, video avant-garde artists such as Walter Ruttmann and Norman McLaren and contemporary artists such as Quayola.

The project has been created thanks to the support of the grants Kreas and Girona City Council, and has had the collaboration of Playmodes, Epson and Bloom.
