The audiovisual production company Xtrañas Producciones will use 30.000 watts of sound and 60.000 projection lumens in the show 'The heritage illuminates Ávila' to celebrate the 25 and 26 August, in the square of the Cathedral of Ávila this anniversary.

Organized by the Department of Tourism of the Ávila City Council and with the staging of the specialist Xtrañas Productions, the nights of the 25 and 26 August, the façade of the cathedral of this Castilian-Leonese city will be the scene of the light and sound show through the videomapping technique 'The heritage illuminates Ávila', that commemorates in 2017 the thirtieth anniversary of the declaration of Ávila as a World Heritage City.

As a novelty, this audiovisual projection will feature music by the composer from Abulense Tomás Luis de Victoria and live percussion with light and water drums, synchronized at times with the multimedia projection to offer an integral show, as explained by the Deputy Mayor for City Services, Tourism and Historical Heritage of the consistory, Hector Palencia.

For the audiovisual realization of this monumental projection on the western façade of the Cathedral of Ávila (recently restored), in the words of Álvaro Arribas, technical and artistic director of Xtrañas Producciones, projectors will be used Christie, with a total of 60.000 Lumens, which are combined with 30.000 watts of EAW surround sound in line array and others 30.000 of robotic architectural lighting, with special effects.

The script of this audiovisual creation, twelve minutes long and five daily passes (to 21:30, 22:00, 22:30, 23:00 and 23:30 hours), revolves around the heritage elements of this city of Castilla y León and its most representative characters.
