Harris has shown at ISE 2010 its latest proposals for digital signage that seek to provide an improved business customer experience and maximum return on investment. The InfoCaster and Punctuate systems are at the core of the Harris system for digital signage networks of any size and number of screens.

Harris has taken advantage of his time at Integrated Systems Europe, ISE'10, to present its proposal for digital signage with a concept that goes beyond screens on public roads as it also relies on IPTV and mobile to achieve greater optimization of income. Brian Cabeceiras, vice president of strategic marketing and technology at Harris Broadcast Communications, commented during the first event that Harris organized for the press at an ISE that his company “continues to revolutionize the way you launch your digital signage networks, whether big or small. Digital signage is an unequivocal way to improve the customer experience and maximize the return on investment in a business”. Two of the pillars on which Harris' proposal is based are the InfoCaster graphic solution and the Punctuate advertising management system.. Now, Harris customers can choose from three hardware platforms ranging from the simplest DS500-based, with a single HDMI output, up to the DS1100 with dual DVI outputs and 2RU or the DS4100 for four output channels. Besides, The new software features for the InfoCaster system perfectly adapt to markets such as live event spaces or transportation with support for media playout on IPTV or mobile TV platforms thanks to the integration of solutions such as Harris MPH. Other possibilities at the software level allow audio and video to be synchronized, reformat content or create eye-catching transitions. Regarding Punctuate software, It is specially designed to optimize and target content throughout the entire digital network, even if it has thousands of screens.. Punctuate allows you to personalize the broadcast as required by each campaign, offering continuous reports on its sending. Cabeceiras commented at ISE'10 that “Combining Harris InfoCaster and Punctuate enables businesses to leverage content in engaging ways, rentable, and scalable in digital signage networks, thus providing new opportunities to generate income”. Control In other areas of application, Harris' stand also featured its Predator II-GX control and monitoring solution, which allows expansion of source inputs to meet growing monitoring needs.. Also offers optional input graphics computing cards, allowing you to monitor DVI or VGA sources with totally flexible control. This solution is especially useful in AV environments where customers want to view video sources and equipment together and can add additional cards to gradually expand the system..
