Panasonic will expand its 3D line with a monitor 25,5 inches
The new BT-3DL2550 monitor is an LCD specially designed for stereoscopic production. It will offer a 3D display with true-to-life colors on a durable LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200, being able to choose between six color modes (SMPTE, EBU, ITU-R BT.709, Adobe 2.2, Adobe 1.8 y D-Cinema) and LUT for three-dimensional calibration.
Panasonic has announced the new BT-3DL2550 monitor from 25,5 inches for professional stereographic production environments. It will feature a 3D display with true-to-life colors on a durable LCD panel with an Xpol polarizing filter., thus being able to be used with passive 3D glasses systems. An interesting feature is that it will allow you to directly switch between the stereoscopic right and left image in a side-by-side or top-down dual-window configuration.. The BT-3DL2550 will offer exceptional quality color reproduction in the same vein as Panasonic's popular BT-LH2550 LCD.. Equipped with in-Plane Switching (IPS) and a processing circuit 10 bit, This monitor will offer a resolution of 1920 x 1200 with exceptional clarity with a choice of six color modes (SMPTE, EBU, ITU-R BT.709, Adobe 2.2, Adobe 1.8 y D-Cinema) and LUT for three-dimensional calibration. Besides, will support 1080i, 1080p y 720p, offering pixel-to-pixel functionality in 720p mode. The BT-3DL2550 will be equipped with two HD/SD-SDI inputs in order to display both the left and right image in stereoscopy., thus supporting free-by-line or side-by-side signals thanks to the DVI-D input. It will also have HD/SD-SDI inputs, components and RGB, as well as RS-232C standard (9 pines) y GPI (9 pines) for remote inputs, headphone jack, and green and red tally on the front itself. The new monitor will support embedded audio (through the headphone jack), time code display, closed caption (via video input only) and on-screen VU meters for audio levels of up to eight channels. The 3D monitor can be connected directly to Panasonic Full HD 3D camcorders as well as other 3D cameras via HD-SDI inputs.. Also, You will be able to work in direct connection with non-linear editing systems such as IQ and Pablo from Quantel using two HD-SDI (simultaneous signal) o Final Cut Pro via DVI-D (señal line-by-line). It will also include pre-installed calibration software, Film-Rec cine-gamma compensation, Standard and Blue-only markers, H/V delay display, monochrome and Cross Hatch on the screen itself, as well as five customizable buttons on the front that can be assigned with a single touch to different settings or modes.
