PT-AT5000: Panasonic announces first Full HD 3D projector for home cinema
With a contrast ratio of 300.000:1 y 2.000 lumens, The PT-AT5000 offers high-quality 2D images and excellent 3D features for an affordable home theater experience.
Panasonic has announced the launch of the PT-AT5000, your first Full HD 3D projector for home theater with 1080p resolution (1.920 x 1.080 pixels). The PT-AT5000 is also the world's first to use 480Hz transparent LCD panels., which combined with Panasonic's original Overdrive technology, minimizes the crosstalk effect. The new technological development of the lens, generates a contrast ratio of 300.000:1 y 2.000 luminosity lumens, allowing the PT-AT5000 to offer a 2D and 3D viewing experience. Panasonic's home theater projector aims to generate images that reflect the director's artistic vision and intentions. Consequently, PT-AT5000's key projection technologies were developed in collaboration with engineers at Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, strongly committed to creating 3D Blu-Ray discs and have played a key role in establishing 3D industry standards. The PT-AT5000 has been redesigned from the ground up to achieve excellent basic 2D performance and unique 3D features to deliver the quality Hollywood professionals demand.. The comfortable 3D view can also be adjusted using the 3D Viewing Monitor and 3D Picture Balance functions.. The 3D Viewing Monitor ensures that the stereoscopic effect is within the safety zone defined by the 3D Consortium committee, since the 3D effect changes with different screen sizes. The PT-AT5000 can display left and right images side by side, with individual waveform monitors to adjust 3D image balance. Among other 3D features, includes 2D-3D Conversion, that converts 2D contents into 3D images for 3D projection with five different 3D effect modes. The projector has a 3D IR transmitter that allows the user to enjoy 3D images on large format screens with the same optional glasses (which are sold separately), used for Panasonic VIERA 3DTV, suitable for those who want to enjoy 3D technology on both their TV and projector. An optional IR transmitter is also available (ET-TRM110) in order to extend the transmission distance. The PT-AT5000 offers multiple functions that allow you to customize settings for all types of content. Many Blu-ray and DVD discs have screen sizes even wider than the aspect ratio of projectors 16:9, to achieve the size of the image that can be enjoyed in cinemas (2.35:1). Intelligent Lens Memory feature allows users to program up to six different zoom and focus positions. Thanks to the aspect signal detection capability of the PT-AT5000, Automatic switching between video content is also possible 16:9 y 2.35:1. Other configuration options, such as lighting and screen motorization, are possible because the PT-AT5000 comes equipped with two programmable output terminals. 12 volts and with Viera Link. VIERA Link provides seamless management of multiple VIERA Link compatible Panasonic devices using the PT-AT5000's backlit button remote control.. The new PT-AT5000 projector is also equipped with three HDMI inputs (soportando x.v.Colour and Deep Colour), so multiple HD sources can be connected without using an HDMI switch. Installation and initial start-up is quick and easy, because the 2x zoom can project a diagonal image of 120 inches from 3,6 meters to 7 screen meters. The projector's lens changing capabilities allow for 100% vertical adjustment and a 26% horizontal adjustment, which allow the user to hang the projector from the ceiling or mount it on a wall. Besides, the new PT-AT5000 projector is also an ecological product. Its intelligent management system reduces lamp energy to the exact level of brightness required depending on the content. Panasonic's advanced digital circuitry intelligently determines the power required by analyzing more than 3.000 millions of different image patterns. This advanced analysis process reduces main consumption up to a maximum of 10% when the Dynamic Iris function is activated, thus saving energy.
