Nace Pixtron Broadcast, a new brand of professional monitors

Albiral Display Solutions launches its new Pixtron Broadcast brand on the market with a complete range of professional monitors for broadcast applications.

Pixtron will begin its journey in IBC 2011 with three product families: monitores “enrackables” HDSDI 3 G, individual “stand alone” monitors and “multiviewer” monitors, able to show up to 16 video signals simultaneously. Provided with TFT panels in panoramic format and high resolution, They have excellent viewing angles and multiple functionalities accessible through a very easy-to-use menu.. Its elegant design, compact and robust, makes them ideal for mobile units, control centers, production and post production. The Pixtron range of rackable monitors consists of three models, a 5.6” triple rack, a double 9” rack and a single 17” rack. With great image quality, incorporates panels with optimal viewing angles and unbeatable performance, for both HD and SD environments. With HDSDI inputs 3 G, CVBS and DVI, provides features such as Soft Tally, LTC y VITC, vomiting, adjustable color temperature and correction, UMD and alarms to indicate loss of video and audio signal. Its easy-access menu allows individual control of each of the rack screens. They have HDSDI outputs 3 G and CVBS via active loop as well as AES/EBU balanced output , analog audio output and are controllable via Ethernet and RS-422. The menu includes functions such as temperature adjustment and color correction, aspect ratio selection, security areas, UMD y Tally, Time Code, Vu meters, color selection, false color, zebra and peaking and optionally, The monitors have an oscilloscope and visualization in 3 D. In addition to its new generation of rackable monitors, Pixtron also has “stand alone” monitors available from 17 up to 55”. The range starts with 5 different sizes: 24, 37, 42, 46 y 55”, and with functionalities such as Tally, LTC y VITC, audio level indicators, adjustable color temperature and correction, UMD and alarms. They have HDSDI inputs 3 G, CVBS and DVI and HDSDI outputs 3 G and CVBS with active loop as well as balanced AES/EBU output, analog audio output (2 embedded audio output channels for SDI) and control via RS-422 and Ethernet. Finally, The Multiviewer range of monitors is available in different sizes; from 17 up to 37” with the ability to display up to 16 signals simultaneously (depending on the model) with great image quality. It is an exceptionally flexible solution, con 4, 8, 12 o 16 video windows, that combines the advantages of a professional Broadcast monitor with the features of external multiviewers, optimizing delay time as well as space. Control and connectivity Thanks to the control software, The window configuration is totally flexible and the monitors have an internal memory that allows you to store up to 8 configurations that can be recalled from the equipment itself. Inputs are autodetectable 3 Gbps/HD/SD, and Grade A panels provide native resolutions of 1920*1080 and of 1920*1200 .
