Magtel will supply the digital whiteboards in the ICT School program 2.0. of the Andalusian Government

Magtel Systems, the technological subsidiary of the Magtel Group, will supply 1.350 digital whiteboards and projectors within the framework of the ICT School program 2.0. of the Ministry of Education and the Department of Education of the Junta de Andalucía.

The ICT School 2.0, developed by the Department of Education of the Government of Andalusia and the Ministry of Education to generalize the use of new technologies in public and subsidized Andalusian educational centers, started in the course 2009 with the provision of digital classrooms equipped with digital whiteboards, projection cannon and teaching material in electronic format for 5th and 6th grades of Primary, It was extended last academic year to 1st year of ESO and this course will reach 2nd year of ESO.

This initiative will allow the supply and installation of the necessary materials for the new 3.103 digital classrooms that will operate this course at the 2nd level of Compulsory Secondary Education (THAT) of all Andalusian public centers. These teams, including interactive whiteboard, projection cannon and teaching material in electronic format, they add to the 9.551 that already worked last academic year in 1st year of ESO and 5th and 6th years of Primary, with which this course will be 12.654 digital classrooms in schools and institutes, what it means 3.103 new ones corresponding to 2nd year of ESO.

The procedure, with a base tender budget for a total amount of 10 million euros, It is organized into a total of 7 lots, corresponding to different types of digital whiteboards and projects, as well as the services for its installation. These actions are financeable under the Network Education Program that is part of the Knowledge-Based Economy Operational Programs. 2007-2013 (FEDER).

Within the framework of this program, Magtel Systems will supply 1.350 digital whiteboards and projectors. The conditions of supply in a timely manner have been possible thanks to the presence of the Group in all the Andalusian provinces., the experience acquired in the sector over recent years, the exhaustive knowledge of the needs of the educational system and the excellent relationship with manufacturers.
