Peter Heins, Director of Product and R&D at Sharp Electronics Europe, has assured that “with his 70 inches (176,6 cm), Full HD resolution and sensitive touch screen, This monitor is ideal for teaching in schools and universities, to deliver presentations in boardrooms and conference centers and also for digital signage. The PN-L702B is even ready for use as part of a video conferencing system where people from different locations can confer on one screen in real time., as if they were actually sitting around a table”.

Move everything with just two fingers
The monitors use an infrared detection system developed by Sharp that improves the response of the touch screen as well as its ability to integrate handwritten notes.. This system is made up of several infrared sensors that locate the position of the user's finger or stylus at extraordinary speed and precision.. The PN-L702B also has a “Dual Touch function” which allows the user to scroll a page with two fingers and zoom in or out an image simply by separating the two fingers and, after, putting them back together.

With UV2A technology developed by Sharp, The PN-L702B also offers bright white display, vivid colors and deep blacks, and guarantees backlighting with superior efficiency and prevents light loss. The full array LED backlight of the PN-L702B and the edge-lit LED backlight of the PN-L602B enable reliable performance and low power consumption..

Easy to use and instantly connected
In the development of the PN-L702B, special emphasis was placed on ease of use. Sharp's touch pen software has been developed especially for the Japanese firm's touch screen monitors., making the screen very easy to operate. Users can write and draw directly on the screen with the help of the stylus or with their own hands.. Images displayed can be zoomed or rotated, and handwritten notes can be selected and moved around the screen. After making these settings, the final screen can be saved and printed.

For example, The latest status of the discussion or brainstorming sessions can simply be saved and made accessible to a selected group of people. The L702B PN can be connected without problems to Sharp MFPs, printers, scanners and network. You can even view scanned images on the touch screen and then save and print them complete with handwritten comments.
