The Ministry of Education grants Charmex the School Seal quality label 2.0

The Ministry of Education has awarded Charmex International the distinctive 'School Seal 2.0’ for having contributed to the operational deployment of technological means in educational environments, as well as their approach to teachers with the ICT necessary for didactic planning and its subsequent use., within the framework of the implementation of the School Program 2.0.

The Secretary of State for Education and Vocational Training, which depends on the Ministry of Education, has granted to Charmex International the School Seal 2.0 for the firm's commitment to improving educational quality and, especially, for their responsibility with the School program 2.0, launched by the Ministry in collaboration with the Autonomous Communities for the integration of ICT in educational centers. This program aims to accelerate the incorporation of the use of digital technologies in teaching practice through an integrated set of measures that refer, on the one hand, to the personalized use of laptops by students and, on the other, to the implementation of the digital classrooms of the 21st century.

Since the year 2009, Charmex Internacional participates, together with the Department of Education of the Government of Aragon, in the implementation of the School program 2.0. And Charmex has won three consecutive digital whiteboard contests in the Aragonese community, through which you have installed more than 1.500 PDIs in centers spread throughout the territory, and has given training courses to teachers in the Pedagogical Resource Centers of this Autonomous Community.

The School Seal quality badge 2.0 entails public recognition of the commitment of an entity or company, or linking a product or service, with the development and improvement of educational quality through the use of information and communication technologies. In the case of Charmex, The Government of Aragon has attested to the participation of the technology company and the good results obtained in the use of the technological systems installed in the 1.500 digital classrooms, as well as the training courses given to teachers, valuing the educational relevance of the facilities in the development of the actions of the School program 2.0 in its scope of action.

Gerard Uson, responsible for the interactive department at Charmex International, is pleased with the award, while valuing the benefits that such recognition brings to the company. “The School Seal certificate 2.0 rewards the effort that Charmex makes in coordination with the Government to adapt to the School project 2.0, providing classrooms with innovative and quality education products, and providing training so that both teachers and students can make good use of technology.”

The digitization of more than 1.500 classrooms of the Aragonese Community is just one example of all the involvement of Charmex International with the School program 2.0 promoted by the Government, given that it works on several parallel projects in collaboration with various institutions and companies. One of them focuses on a project to distribute interactive whiteboards together with the publishing house La Galera.. In addition, Charmex collaborates with the British embassy and the bilingual schools of Madrid in training teachers, and has launched pilot classrooms to test and improve the technological products it installs. In addition to that, Charmex provides free online training courses in the use of the software for each board purchased.
