The HDBaseT Alliance created to promote and standardize HDBaseT technology for the distribution of uncompressed HD signals in home environments, will take advantage of its presence at the next edition of the Integrated Systems Europe fair to publicize this initiative.

HDBaseT Alliance, the cross-industry alliance formed to promote and standardize HDBaseT TM technology for commercial and domestic distribution of high-definition multimedia content (HD) uncompressed, has announced that it will present use cases on home networks and commercial installations during ISE 2012 in Amsterdam, of the 31 from January to 2 February 2012.

Participation in ISE is part of the geographic expansion of the alliance in 2012 to meet the growing demand for HDBaseT technology. Representatives will attend the event to demonstrate how HDBaseT technology can be applied to a variety of market segments, including home theater, digital signage, projection and reception.

The HDBaseT Alliance is a multi-sector alliance founded by LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Sony Pictures Entertainment y Valens Semiconductor. The alliance was established to promote and standardize HDBaseT technology, enabling the delivery of high-resolution, uncompressed multimedia content (high density) as well as internet connectivity, control and power via a conventional CAT5 Ethernet cable, at distances up to 100 metros. Besides, HDBaseT wired power provides 100 watts of power to a device using a single Ethernet cable as a means of power transmission, without the need to add another source.

The demos will show all the features of the HDBaseT 5Play - full shipping, uncompressed HD video, audio, Ethernet, power (100W) and controls on a single LAN cable 100 m-. The Alliance will also showcase HDBaseT support products from various member companies, as Atlona, Crestron, Cypress Technology, Kramer Electronics, Microsemi, Nexus Technologies, Silvertel y Structured Cable Products.
