Christie's great demonstration of strength at the ninth edition of ISE
Christie is showing at ISE 2012 its wide range of technological developments on digital projections and for this it offers at its stand a video mapping with a mix of 3 channels of your new DLP projectors 3 chips DLP illumination for Xenon de Christie Series J, which project onto a large replica of a building facade.
Taking some of the best design elements from successful presentations around the world at 2011, and integrating them into a single concept, Christie has taken advantage of the ISE fair 2012 to be presented for the first time in the EMEA area (Europa, Middle East and Africa) a great set of products and solutions. The exhibition space consists of two adjacent double-level stands. (Pavilion 1, Stands H27 y H40).
The different product groups receive a special focus on well-differentiated target areas, including the largest Christie MicroTiles display seen at a trade show; an area focused on broadcast; a section dedicated entirely to the exhibition of “entry level” projectors, and a cinema screening showcasing the innovative Christie Solaria 4K DLP Cinema digital projection solution.
Dale Miller, Christie's vice president for EMEA, has highlighted: “No visitor interested in projection – whatever the application – can miss the Christie stand, since there you will find the most complete and cutting-edge range of visual products and solutions for the industry”.
With projectors with outputs from the 4.200 until the 35.000 lumens, from XGA to 4K resolution, and with 2D and 3D capabilities, There is a Christie solution for every application. Besides, Visitors can experience and learn more about many of those projectors in one “shooting line”.
Among the products on display is the new and expanded range of LCDs, with a variety of resolutions including models such as Christie L2K1500, Christie L2K1000, Christie LWU505, Christie LWU420 and the recently announced Christie LX1200 and Christie LHD700.
You can also see the new range of Christie E Series DLP projectors from 1 chip, that brings the brand prestige of this firm to a broad commercial market, offering a very low cost of ownership. The range is aimed at small auditoriums and boardrooms, medium-large educational facilities or conference rooms.
Another new generation platform on display at ISE 2012 is the Christie J Series. with her, DLP projector 3 chip replaces current high-performance xenon lamp projectors to add aspects highly valued by the industry, such as liquid cooling and the incorporation of the Christie Twist module for warping and edge-blending functions, eliminating the need for additional electronic cards or external processors. With a xenon lighting system that provides optimal color reproduction and stability, The J Series also offers lenses with the functions of the Intelligent Lens System (ILS) and three resolutions: SXGA+, HD and WUXGA.
Also included is the Mirage J Series, active stereo projectors with excellent results. Easy installation and configuration, These are compact models that are at the same time powerful and flexible.. New features include full native 3D resolution of 60Hz per eye and triple 144Hz 3D flash for 3D movie playback. Christie J Series products address a broad spectrum of applications both within the event rental sector, as in the fixed installations market, as well as through high-end Christie Roadsters, to visualization and pixel mapping and simulation.
Target areas to show thousands of solutions
Christie is also presenting its concept at ISE “all in one” within an attractive Christie MicroTiles environment, which includes an impressive video wall of 21 x 6 metros. The award-winning building block system is displayed in a wide variety of geometric shapes, including the Skyscraper (skyscraper), the Digital Bookshelf and Digital Bookcase (digital bookstores), Digital Dashboard (digital dashboard) and Triptych (triptych).
Visitors should also look out for Christie's award-winning broadcast set, including the interactive MicroTiles display and the Christie MicroTiles library, with JumpStart touchscreen interactivity kit and front-end content solution, and a combination of rear projection thanks to a pair of M Series devices.
Christie has taken advantage of the fair to present the Christie JumpStart, a PC software solution that allows you to place a wide spectrum of content on a digital canvas of 5-10 megapixels with minimal effort. Combining the ease of use of JumpStart software with the reliability of HP hardware, Christie JumpStart allows customers to play windows of local content — such as video files, graphics, applications, Blu-ray and DVD movies, color and text samples—along with optional input channels to the digital display and program playback times. The design can be edited on the server itself or on a remote PC, and save as "scenarios".
Windows 7 Recognize Christie Interactivity Kit, a modular stand that is attached around the perimeter of a flat surface to create an interactive multi-touch display, as native touch interface, that is to say, allowing touched events to be processed similar to a mouse device. This interactivity kit, which has had its technological preview at ISE 2012, makes possible the simultaneous interaction of multiple users with a rectangular visual device with sufficient resolution and speed to provide perfect support for common finger gestures, how to click, tap, rotate or move.
But far from limiting itself to its own space, Christie has also fired its projectors in different directions—on the screens of its veteran partners Stewart and Draper across the hall (the latter conducts a demonstration of dual edge-blend projection of the J Series on a curved screen). Another projector in rigorous premiere shown at the stand is the Christie D4K35, the first non-exclusive 4K DLP projector for cinemas.
Among Christie's solutions for control rooms, you can see the Entero LED video wall solution along with MicroTiles and the brand new FHD551-X with LED backlight panels, launched last september. While, An encore of the spectacular display presented at InfoComm is projected on Christie's secondary stand 2011, showing for the first time at ISE the largest example of Christie 3D mapping in EMEA seen at a trade show (projection on façade in front of the reception area).
Finally, Another great entertainment that has brought Christie into the field of concert tours is Christie Nitro Solutions. Specifically, Christie presents, in various spaces of the stand, Christie YK50 Double Arm Mobile Clamp, recently launched on the market.
Recognizing the importance of education in the professional audiovisual industry, Christie offers various presentations related to this field at its stand.. In addition, participate in complementary activities, such as sponsorship of the Dynamic Events Conference, focused on the use of light, sound, video and staging technology, while supporting ISE as one of the sponsors of the guest buyer program. According to Dale Miller, “Practical knowledge is essential for the growth of the industry, and as technology becomes more sophisticated in what can be achieved creatively, education becomes, more and more, in a priority that suppliers like us must lead. For this reason, We are proud to participate in the first edition of Dynamic Events, a new live events conference focusing on large-scale sports and leisure environments in line with the London 2012 Olympics”.
