The first partial company of the international group of Harman AKG has been the one to announce its latest developments., introducing the IVM monitoring system 4500 providing a higher level of audio quality control, with strict reference calibration reference standards, to cover all the needs of audio engineers. The IVM system 4500 offers many different utilities, including high-end radio signal, A manual electronic radio signal attenuator to increase radio frequency adjustment, as well as the function of fast support to the monitor frequency.
It has also launched a new version of its WMS470 wireless system with revised working frequencies for the European market.. WMS470 Band 10 operates at frequencies between 823 y 832 MHz known as the “double sided gap. This frequency range is among the areas that will be used for upcoming high-speed Internet service for mobile devices., and will allow interference-free operation. Designed for total ease of use, The WMS470 is ideal for a variety of installed applications, including hotels, conference centers, temples, schools, universities and other centers. Also perfect for touring musicians and bands.
In addition, has submitted the DMS 70, an uncompressed digital wireless system. Black version
Lexicon, another of the companies belonging to the Harman International group, has added a black version of the DD-8 amplifier to its catalog, an amplifier 8 channels using patented DriveCore technology, that supplies 1.000 watts of power in an incredibly small and light product. DriveCore incorporates more than 500 different components typically found in a switching amplifier and packs them onto a single coin-sized silicon chip. Combined with a power supply, This chip is capable of generating high output levels with a wide variety of speaker loads., offering the flexibility to power virtually any speaker, from ceiling models to floor-standing speakers.
The Lexicon DD-8 offers 125 watts on each of its eight channels, although it only measures 2,1 inches tall, 17,3 inches wide and 14,9 inches long. The DD-8 achieves its maximum efficiency by using Harman's DriveCore IC chip amplifier. It's face, developed in collaboration with Texas Instruments Incorporated exclusively for Harman, incorporates the integration of components into an integrated circuit that is smaller than a postage stamp.

More than 20 new features
Finally, Harman Soundcraft's popular compact digital console has received a major update with software version V2. The new free update offers more than 23 important new features, updates and improvements, as eight other DSP channels that expand the Si Compact 16 and the Si Compact 24 a 32 y 40 inputs to the mix, respectively.
Of particular interest is the new user-configurable layer that allows input channels to be reassigned anywhere on the input layer and any master reassigned to another master layer.. Now an engineer can put in the inputs and go back to where he needs them most, For example, have the lead voice or presenter always in position 1 on the two input layers of the slider, or mix auxiliary and parent masters on a single layer to reduce the number of layer changes.
Another very useful feature introduced in V2 is the D.O.G.S (Direct Output Gain Stabilisation), Using a connection topology where the slave console is powered from a direct pre-fade output of the master, DOGS can compensate the gain setting to maintain an original system gain between microphone and direct output.
