The company has immediately taken steps to address this threat and has already placed firmware updates in the download area of ​​its website..

This firmware update resolves the vulnerability in TRENDnetSecurView cameras purchased after April 2010, which are the ones that could suffer “unwanted access”. TRENDnet has also created an email (ipcam@trendnet.com) dedicated to answering any type of query related to this case.
