The American company DT Research, that provides a wide range of information access devices for companies, integrators and developers, has launched its new line of DT519 displays on the market, 19”, aspect ratio 4:3 and anti-microbial properties, making them a preferred option for healthcare environments.

DT Research, manufacturer of information devices for vertical markets, has announced the new DT519 series, the newest addition to their line of integrated LCD systems. These anti-glare TFT displays 19 inches combine with energy-efficient operation in a slim, detachable design.

With an aspect ratio 4:3, DT519 series provides optimal viewing experience for most formats, offering the largest possible image regardless of the type of material displayed. With IR touch option, The DT519 can be used without a keyboard and mouse for space-saving applications, and the front panel is IP65 dust and water resistant for real-world applications.

The DT519 offers an optional magnetic stripe reader, for quick reading of credit cards, patient and staff identification, loyalty cards and payment cards. The T and S models of the DT519 are equipped with dual-core Intel Atom and Core i3, i5 o i7, respectively, and also streamline data capture with an optional smart card reader for access to stored information and accounts.

Suitable for the healthcare sector and other germ-sensitive environments, DT519T MD and DT519S MD have surfaces with anti-microbial properties, promoting cleaner operations. Whether mounted on a cart, as a wall unit or in the nurses' booth, The DT519 supports trusted point-of-care solutions, with optional wireless networking features and VESA mounting. An optional magnetic stripe reader (MSR) on the DT519T/S MD allows efficient check-in with a health plan card, or a quick sign-in station with personal identification cards.

DT519 models offer a wide variety of Microsoft Windows operating systems, providing a flexible platform for integration with other applications and systems. The fan, with solid state design, adds to the reliability and reduced power consumption, while also providing quiet operation. As with all DT Research products, The DT519 can be managed remotely with WebDT device management software.
