East Midlands Airport installs IndigoVision IP video surveillance system

English East Midlands Airport, located in Castle Donington, north west Leicestershire, between the cities of derby, Leicester y Nottingham, has incorporated IndigoVision's comprehensive IP video surveillance system, ensuring more detailed analysis and greater storage capacity of surveillance recordings.

The comprehensive IP video surveillance system IndigoVision has recently been installed at East Midlands Airport (United Kingdom), which favors commercial operations with more detailed analysis and greater ability to
storage of surveillance recordings. East Midlands Airport is a major hub for people movement, because it serves as a connection with more than 90 destinations and their facilities are used by more than four million passengers a year. Through joint work with regional partner P&G Electrical, IndigoVision leveraged existing infrastructure and cameras, adding new high definition cameras: 195 fixed and 18 with sweep function, tilt and zoom (PTZ). This installation includes analog and IP cameras that work in conjunction with network video recorders (NVR) de IndigoVision. The open, distributed architecture of IndigoVision's IP video system ensures an ideal platform for CCTV migration (CCTV) existing, as well as integration with other security systems.

All cameras installed at the airport are now equipped with IndigoVision activity-controlled frame rate technology (ACF).
