Axis introduces two new small and affordable wireless network cameras

Axis Communications, IT company offering network video solutions, has expanded its extensive product portfolio with the AXIS M1033-W and the AXIS M1034-W, two small network cameras with wireless capability and smart video surveillance features; and with the AXIS T98A-VE surveillance housing series, that facilitate the installation of equipment in critical systems.

Axis Communications has introduced small and affordable AXIS M1033-W and AXIS M1034-W network cameras with wireless capability and smart video surveillance features. Offer wide-ranging video management support, as well as Axis one-click camera connection for easy connection to an Internet-hosted video service. They are ideal for protecting places such as small businesses, stores, restaurants, hotels and residences, where a wired connection may be difficult or inconvenient.

The latest AXIS M10 series models provide excellent video quality to 30 frames per second, both in SVGA resolution (AXIS M1033-W) like HDTV 720p (AXIS m1034-W). They have wireless capabilities with the Wi-Fi Protected Setup protocol (WPS), that simplifies the process of configuring logical security in wireless networks. The combination of the 802.11b/g/n wireless standard and the WPS protocol ensures high and easy-to-use network security, while allowing HDTV video to be transmitted reliably over a wireless network.

The cameras also have a passive infrared sensor (PIR) to detect motion in the dark and a white LED light to automatically illuminate the scene when motion is detected or when activated by the user. Support two-way audio with a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing users to listen in on an area while playing a recorded audio clip to visitors or intruders remotely. In addition to these features, Include I/O ports to connect devices such as door sensors to start video recording and external relays to activate lights.
