Panasonic launches new plug-in PC digital signage player

Panasonic has launched the new PLUGTHA-54 plug-in PC with Intel Corei5 processor, Developed to offer an all-in-one digital signage solution.

Panasonic has announced the launch of the new PLUGTHA-54 PC plug-in for professional displays and SLOT architecture 2.0. This PC powered by an Intel Core i5 processor is compatible with all major digital signage software platforms with multiple content zones – and has been designed to create a digital signage solution “all-in-one”, al tiempo que proporciona la flexibilidad necesaria para el mantenimiento del PC sin necesidad de desmontar el display de la pared, they assure from Panasonic.

Panasonic has designed the new PC to offer the highest graphics performance available, while supporting additional features for content management not found in previous PC card options such as Windows operating system 7, Integrated Wi-Fi, Ethernet port and a 320GB hard drive. The PLUGTHA-54 is easy to set up, install and maintain, and is intended for the assembly of digital signage networks 24/7 large and small that require high reliability and an all-in-one design. The device simply has to slide into the SLOT architecture 2.0 built into any Panasonic LF Series professional LCD or PF Series plasma display.

The PC plug-In is intended primarily for digital signage applications., but it is also capable of managing applications for other uses, such as touch panels for wayfinding signs, customer comments, or games, as well as part of a classroom annotation solution.
