The Renault Megane III comes to life with the Dataton Watchout
The company specialized in the organization of events Omagica has supplied the multi-image presentation software Watchout from Dataton to the presentation event of the new Renault Megane III in the Colombian cities of Bogotá and Medellín.
Watchout multi-image display and presentation software Dataton was provided by Dataton's Bolivian partner, Omagica, to projection specialists Vinyl Lab Audiovisual Laboratory, for the launch of the new Renault Megane III family in the cities of Bogotá and Medellín (Colombia).
In relation to this project, Eduardo Ortega, Director of Vinyl Media Lab, has explained: “Our client wanted the look of a movie full of action and drama. To create the drama, we turn to the version 5.2 Watchout and took full advantage of the new corner pinning features that allowed us to manipulate the corners of the projected image around curved surfaces, like car wheels. Next, An extra projection layer was added to make the motion effect more realistic and faster. When the car was suspended in the air and lowered to the stage area during the show, the result was perfectly timed. ”
The event was attended by a large audience of brand managers, televisions and media, as well as regional Renault dealers.
Adela Kriland, owner of Omagica, has added: “Omagica is a trusted partner of Dataton and we have worked with them for many years on projects with partners such as Vinilo Lab who are testing the new Watchout features on the fly in projects as exciting as the launch of the Renault Megane. Our technical support staff were at your side to offer valuable advice during the installation of this project.”.
Finally, Fredrik Svahnberg, Marketing Director of Dataton, has commented: “Dataton is no stranger to car launches. Have a system that is reliable, easy to use and as robust as Watchout is a testament to its success. We hope to see more installations as impressive as the Renault Megane launch with new and improved Watchout features in the future”.
