Vivitek expands the D5 series of multimedia projectors with 4 new models

Vivitek Corporation, visual presentation products manufacturer, has added four models to its D5 series of multimedia projectors (D516, D517, D518 and D519), in order to provide high brightness devices, 3D capable and long-lasting lamp that can be used for portable applications.

Vivitek has incorporated four new digital projectors from its D5 product range: D516 models, D517, D518 and D519. Specifically designed for multimedia and portable applications, These models provide high gloss, 3D capability and what the company describes as a “high-efficiency, long-life lamp”.

The D516, the D517, The D518 and D519 offer 3.000 ANSI lumens of brightness with a contrast ratio of 15.000:1 for great image quality. They have DLP and BrilliantColor technologies from Texas Instruments, connectivity including HDMI (available only on models D518 and D519), VGA input, S-Video, composite video and RS-232C ports, as well as internal audio speakers 2 watts. The models weigh 1,9 kg and the lamp has a useful life of 6.000 hours in economy mode.

With native SVGA resolutions (D516 and D517) y XGA (D518 and D519) with display capacity up to UXGA, D5 series is 3D enabled via Texas Instruments DLP links.
