Assus exhibe in IFA 2012 the new B1 portable LED projector
Asus has launched at the IFA fair 2012 a new portable LED projector, the Asus B1, a model of 500 LED lumens with ultra short throw optics that can project an image of up to 51 inches from a distance of one meter. The B1 has a built-in SD card reader and speaker and can read MS Office documents, PDF files and other file formats without the need for a PC.
Taiwanese consumer electronics manufacturer, Asus, has presented a new portable LED projector at the IFA fair in Berlin, the B1 model, providing clear, bright presentations in a compact package. It has an LED light source 500 ANSI lumens mercury free, with an ultra-short-throw design 51 inches within a meter. Comes with instant on/off capability that reduces startup and shutdown times.
The B1 features plug-and-play capabilities through its integrated SD card reader and speaker with SonicMaster audio technology., while PC-Free Office Viewer and Multimedia Playback support MS Office, PDF and media file formats, allowing users to view these through screen projections. Besides, An optional wireless adapter eliminates wired connections to laptops and PCs.
Design monitors
The Taiwanese firm has also presented in the German capital its new line of Designo series monitors - models MX279H and MX239H- , with a very careful design, that incorporate IPS technology with LED backlighting and viewing angles of 178 degrees. With resolutions of 1920×1080, These two IPS monitors have a very thin, almost invisible frame and a profile of only 17.5mm. 27 inches MX279H and 14,5 mm in the case of the MX239H 23 inches.
Both models feature a panoramic design inspired by sundials and feature VGA connectivity, HDMI, DVI and D-Sub and integrated speakers, but in this case at the base, which correspond to Bang's ICE Power & Olufsen, speakers that offer superior sound quality than conventional integrated ones.
