Macroservice, monitor distributor, touch screens and multimedia products, has announced that the Displax Skin Multitouch range with ProCapFoil technology, which is distributed in sizes of 30 a 100”, It is available with the driver for the Windows operating system 8.

Macroservice has announced that the Portuguese company's Skin Mutitouch touch screens Displax Interactive Systems for shop windows and outdoor multimedia applications are now available with the driver for Windows 8 (in the versions of 32 y 64 bit). They are also compatible with previous Microsoft operating systems.

The Skin Mutitouch range with ProCapFoil touch technology consists of various models from 30” to 100” with image format 16:9 and 30” and 84” with format 4:3 to respond to the needs of multiple environments. These “Multitouch” units are distinguished by detecting up to six simultaneous and independent touches on the screen, even at moving points, and have the “palmrejection” function to recognize the palm of the hand (without producing a touch).

Depending on the requirements of each project, Displax touchscreens can be permanently mounted for long-term installations, like totems, information points and interactive tables) or be reused (with USB controller 2.0 removable). These screens are based on a transparent vinyl sheet (Foil) which is placed anywhere on the inside of the glass (with up to 20 mm thick and the degree of vandalism required). Once the Foil is located, all that remains is to superimpose, behind, a TFT monitor and the installation is ready for any user to “manage” the multimedia application through the glass.

Therefore, These large format models are ideal for store windows, interactive tables and any outdoor application for digital signage, since ProCapFoil technology resists practically any inclement weather (rain, snow or ice).
