Atlona has launched the new HDMI 4 matrix switcher on the market×4 AT-H2H-44M. This is a complete signal routing switch that supports high-speed HDMI and four-zone uncompressed multi-channel digital audio switching and distribution., which has unique features including advanced EDID management, S/PDIF audio loop outputs, multiple control interfaces, firmware upgradeable on site, and the audio return channel (ARC).

The AT-H2H-44M's advanced EDID management feature is designed to ensure compatibility across multiple display types, sends communication between sources and screens, and automatically provides a compatible EDID at boot. The unit also features an EDID learning function that can be customized for any connected component, as AVR, set-top boxes (STBs), and televisions. S/PDIF port loop outputs enable audio distribution to zone amplifiers or A/V receivers in a rack, while the video signal is routed through the HDMI output to viewing area. S/PDIF output supports digital audio signals up to Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1.
