Smart Technologies has developed the LightRaise 60wi interactive projector, that allows any surface to be converted into a touch screen and allows two students to work simultaneously with their finger or with an interactive pen.
The collaborative solutions provider Smart Technologies has announced the launch of the world's first fully integrated touch interactive projector. The Smart LightRaise 60wi Interactive Projector is a touch and stylus-enabled projector that allows two students to interact and collaborate at the same time, either with a pencil or a finger, making it the only interactive projector solution that enables seamless multi-student collaboration using touch technology or a stylus. The LightRaise 60wi projector allows users to turn any surface into an interactive learning space and is designed for teachers who want the flexibility to deliver interactive and collaborative digital content.
LightRaise 60wi projector includes Smart Notebook collaborative learning software and Smart Exchange web access, where educators can connect, share and download more than 60.000 pedagogical content in 28 languages. It has easy integration with other Smart products, as well as vocational training and development offers. The new projector is part of a complete solution for the delivery of interactive content that engages students and improves learning outcomes. The LightRaise 60wi projector enables educators to present digital content collaboratively with one-finger touch functionality enabling greater accessibility and ease of use.. With your finger or interactive pen, two students can write, draw and manipulate content at the same time with Smart Notebook software. The projector uses Smart DViT technology (Digital Vision Touch), offering the advantage of effortless zero force contact, the ability to scale images to large sizes and support for multiple touches. Designed to be used as a lesson delivery and student collaboration tool, The projector can produce screen sizes up to 100 inches (254 cm) in widescreen format, making it a flexible solution designed to fit into almost any classroom or collaboration space.
