Barco's HDQ-2K40 projectors enliven’ the stage of the concert ‘Symphonica in Rosso 2012’

‘Symphonica in Rosso’, a prestigious music festival held every year at the Geldredome in Arnhem (Netherlands), has used for its latest edition 12 Barco HDQ-2K40 ultra-bright projectors for projecting stunning images on stage.

A spectacular setting, great visual quality, a special sound, lighting effects, the color red and, of course, a classical orchestra and popular singers and bands: These are the ingredients that make the annual concert ‘Symphonica in Rosso’ be a must-attend event. In its seventh year, the musical event held in Arnhem (Netherlands) has offered a concept and an atmosphere thanks to the HDQ-2K40 projectors from Barco. The company Creative Technology Holland has installed a dozen of these new ultra-bright projectors from the Belgian company to project images on a transparent screen of 72 by 12 metros.

‘Symphonica in Rosso’ It is the largest entertainment show in the Benelux. Breaks with the tradition of typical live concerts to entertain fans with a rich, multi-sensory mix of perfectly orchestrated elements. Barco has helped organizers achieve that goal. After the Marco Borsato concerts, Paul de Leeuw and international pop stars like Sting, Diana Ross y Lionel Richie, and the live performance of the legendary Dutch band the 80 Doe Maar as main guest, the edition 2012 de 'Symphonica in Rosso’ has become an icon in Dutch pop history. Vivid images in red

The HDQ-2K40 displays stunning images combined with maximum brightness and rich vibrant colors., just what was needed to ensure the images came to life in a red-coloured Gelredome in Arnhem. “With red as the dominant color -in the decoration, lighting, the clothes, etc.- at the event, it was not easy to project bright images and ensure color uniformity.
