Epson launches the new EB-W16SK pair stackable passive 3D projector
Epson has announced the new EB-W16SK passive 3D projection system, a pair stackable projector model based on 3LCD technology and compatible with all forms of 3D signal formats, including side-by-side sequences, top-bottom, secuencial marco y marco.
Epson has launched its first double-stacked passive 3D projection system, in the form of their new EB-W16SK system. Projectors allow educational establishments, museums, exhibitions and the hospitality industry can count on a brilliant and affordable 3D experience and with the only passive 3D projector on the market that is compatible with all 3D signal formats.
The system comprises two individual projector units, stacked together in a special mounting design and the two projectors are connected via USB with polarizing plates attached to each lens. The projectors ensure image quality thanks to Epson's 3LCD technology, providing a wide range of colors for applications such as art exhibitions and science classes. They have a shine 3.000 lumens, creating sharp images in ambient light environments.
Epson UK Business Manager, Graeme Davidson, has indicated that this launch represents an important step for them. “This is our first double-stacked passive 3D projection system and we've made sure audiences of all sizes can enjoy bright, vibrant 3D content.. Using a combination of passive 3D technology and affordable glasses, Epson EB-W16SK offers users low TCO, and is ideal for environments where large groups want to enjoy 3D content.”
