Samsung Techwin has expanded its portfolio of high-quality CCTV systems with the announcement of two new HDTV CCTV systems. Ideal for security applications where detail is of utmost importance - such as the clear display of license plate numbers or close monitoring of retail transactions- the new SDH-P4040 systems from 8 channels and SDH-P5080 16 Samsung channels offer consumers the ability to record and view high-definition video in real time.

Representing the next generation of CCTV monitoring for home and business, Samsung's new all-in-one HDTV kits offer high-definition video recording and break the barrier to entry that once existed for these markets. Both systems offer four 720p HD night vision bullet cameras (night vision up to 85 metros) for outdoors delivering full, uncompressed, latency-free video. For greater flexibility and applications that demand the support of additional cameras, the system of 16 channels incorporates another four outdoor night vision bullet cameras (resolution 600 TVL/ night vision up to 75 metros).

HDTV cameras also stand out in any light environment thanks to Samsung Super Dynamic Range technologies (SSDR) y Samsung Super Noise Reduction (SSNR III). With the SSDR, HD cameras automatically brighten dark areas of the image without affecting the rest of the image, while SSNR III dramatically reduces image noise to deliver stunning color in low light conditions.

Mike Palazzolo, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Video Monitoring and Security Products at Samsung Techwin America, has indicated: “High definition CCTV security systems provide exceptional clarity and performance. However, until today, Price points have traditionally prevented the average consumer or small business owner from truly experiencing the benefits that systems of this type offer.. No cutting corners when it comes to performance or features found in these two new kits, Samsung has opened the door to all customers to further strengthen their security settings, not only with the precise details that high definition images offer, but also because of the wider field of view”.

Installation of these security kits is easy thanks to simple Cat5e cabling that offers a range of up to 400 meters for HDTV cameras (no additional cables required to power the cameras) and a robust feature set that takes the hassle out of system integration within the network itself. The kits offer a high-performance DVR that features a SATA hard drive for surveillance. 1 TB for recording 24/7 and convert video to 1080p Full HD for viewing on an HDTV.

Users also have the ability to remote access from anywhere, anytime via computer or using a free app available for Android and iOS devices.. Besides, with Samsung Quick Connect technology, The new HDTV CCTV systems automatically configure the user's router and manage all necessary port forwarding so that all remote requests for access to live streams are directed to the corresponding camera connected to the network. Samsung's free DDNS service also ensures that dynamic IP addresses assigned by the user's ISP are recorded and updated so that the web portal can make the connection for those who wish to access the DVR from a location outside its network.. For easier video export, Samsung has included two USB 2.0 High speed and easy access on the front of the DVR.

Navigating the system is also easy thanks to Samsung's SmartView video management software.. Con SmartView, Users can access multiple DVR systems from a single user interface. Advanced features include motion detection, camera tamper alerts, and privacy masking.
