Advantech will offer at ISE 2013 its new digital signage solutions ARK-DS262 and ARK-DS762

Taiwanese industrial equipment manufacturer Advantech will present at the Integrated Systems Europe fair 2013 from Amsterdam its two new turnkey digital signage solutions, the ARK-DS262 and the ARK-DS762, including the latest 3rd generation Intel Core i technology to simplify digital signage installations.

Advantech has announced its presence at Integrated Systems Europe (WHEREAS) 2013, which will take place 29 al 31 January 2013 at RAI Amsterdam, where the Taiwanese firm will exhibit its new digital signage solutions applicable in various sectors, as companies, stores, hospitality and education. The solutions highlighted at the Advantech stand (Pavilion 10, stand R144) are signaling platforms based on 3rd generation Intel Core i processors ARK-DS262 and ARK-DS762, offering performance up to 15% superior a las CPUs, and 60% superior to 3D graphics, and up to 1.8x transcoding speed via Quick Sync Video.

The compact turnkey digital signage solution ARK-DS262 (200 x 119 x 30 mm) is a digital signage platform with Intel OPS processor (Open Pluggable Specification) that helps standardize the design and development of multimedia players and displays. The ARK-DS262 is presented with the 3rd generation of the Intel Core i7-3555LE 2.5GHz or the Intel Core i3-3217UE 1.6GHz microprocessors, with Intel QM77 chipset including its own graphics controller, with 1xHDMI up to 1920x1080MHz, allowing to connect 3 independent monitors and generate videos and 3D animation.

The ARK-DS262 also has 1xCOM (RS-232), 2xUSB 3.0 y 1xGbE (con chipset Intel 82579LM), 1Internal xMini PCIe and a Line-out jack. It also incorporates a JAE TX25 connector (80 pin) with HDMI support, eDP, UART, USB 2.0 and audio. Optionally, it can incorporate a second JAE TX25 connector. (60 pin) with support for PCIe x4, USB 2.0/3.0, SATA, LPC y SMBus. An internal 2.5” SATA HDD can be used for data storage., SSD o SATA Slim Card, also offering watchdog function with up to 255 levels, software configurable.

For your part, The ARK-DS762 comes with the 3rd generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 microprocessor and includes its own graphics controller, with 3xHDMI up to 1920x1080MHz, allowing to connect 3 independent monitors. Designed for digital signage players and advanced digital signage projects, the ARK-DS762 can support 3 independent HDMI displays, and is compatible with Microsoft Kinect technology that allows a screen to become an interactive virtual mirror that can be controlled with gestures or voice commands. It is ideal for multi-screen applications in retail stores, stadiums, business receptions, restaurants, hotels and other public spaces.

In turn, The ARK-DS762 has 1xRS232, 1xUSB 3.0, 2xUSB 2.0, y 1xGbE (con chipset Intel 82579LM). It also incorporates 1xMini PCIe internal and a Realtek ALC892 audio interface, high definition, with a line-out jack. An internal 2.5” SATA HDD or a CFast can be used for data storage.
