Sharp will launch at the Integrated Systems Europe fair (WHEREAS) from Amsterdam a professional monitor of 32 inches with new technology based on IGZO (Indium-Gallium-Zinc Oxide). The Sharp PN-K321H offers 4K resolution (3.840 × 2.160 pixels), which is four times the pixel resolution of 1080p Full HD.

Sharp Visual Solutions Europe will present at the ISE fair 2013 (Hall 11, Stand F78) the first professional monitor based on the innovative IGZO panel. The PN-K321H is the slimmest model in its class and reaches Quad Full-HD resolution of 3840×2160 to produce a very real image.

Darren Gaffey, Product Planning and Marketing Manager for Sharp Visual Solutions, has declared: “We are delighted to announce our first monitor based on the new IGZO technology developed by Sharp. “IGZO technology gives us the ability to deliver a stunning ultra-high resolution image at a brightness level that would have required significantly more power consumption on a conventional LCD display.”

Sharp-PN-K321HIGZO is a semiconductor material whose electrons have a mobility 25-50 times faster than amorphous silicon. The TFT transistors inserted in each pixel are much smaller, This increases the transparency of each pixel. With more translucency in each pixel, IGZO can deliver very high resolution image and high luminosity with less backlight power. The PN-K321H is designed without a fan for quieter operation, It is slender and attractive – only 3.5cm at the thickest part – and 140 pixels per inch (twice as high definition), This monitor offers exceptionally vivid and lifelike images.

This display has great appeal in the market where very detailed images are required – such as CAD, illustration, graphic design and television channels. Besides, by offering the high resolution of the screen to 3.840 x 2.160, allows information that usually requires four screens to be displayed, can now be done only with the PN-K321H by dividing it into four separate areas. These features are very useful for stock exchange rooms., and in financial institutions where they usually operate with a large number of screens. Other markets where it is necessary for the content to be ultra high definition are mining, in drilling and exploration and it can be anticipated that the PN-K321H will expand its applications to this sector as well.

The monitor includes RS-232C and DisplayPort, for the content of 3840×2160 with a simple connection via a single cable.
