Siemens presents its new range of hybrid IP-based video surveillance cameras
The new range of IP-based video surveillance cameras from Siemens, belonging to its CCTV HD portfolio, offers a hybrid solution for greater compatibility with other systems and the Onvif protocol 2.
With fixed models, houses, minidomes and vandal-proof, Siemens has updated its range of HD CCTV cameras to IP to offer a hybrid solution in security applications, compatible with the Onvif open network protocol 2 and systems from other manufacturers.
This new IP-based day/night color range offers a greater dynamic day/night spectrum (WDR) for conditions with sudden light changes, Faster PTZ control and H.264 video compression standard selection, MJPEG y MPEG4. All models have analog BNC video output and connection to the IP network to maintain the customer's investment in security systems.
With a wide range of zoom (18x, 28x y 36x) in the case of the high speed dome, fixed and vandal-resistant minidome models integrate varifocal lenses, as standard C/CS mount.
A motion detection algorithm generates events, that are transmitted over the network to compatible devices, such as the Vectis range of hybrid video recorders (HVR) from Siemens.
