Mobile Touchcomputing, tablet for the retail sector by Elo Touch Solutions

The multinational Elo Touch Solutions has developed a rugged touch tablet, especially suitable for mobile service points and inventory management in retail, available in Spain through Diode.

Mobile Touchcomputing is the new rugged tablet with a 10 inches of Elo Touch Systems, whose products the wholesaler distributes in the Spanish market Diode through its Automatic Identification division.

This system, with Intel Atom N2600 Dual Core processor 1.6 GHz and Windows environment support, It is designed for application in mobile service points and inventory management tasks in the retail sector., in addition to improving customer experience and promoting sales.

In this sense, The new Elo tablet responds to the requirements of a mobile hardened store system for mobile service points (Mobile POS), assistance to sellers, line busting and management, etc.

Elo Tablet also includes magnetic stripe reader, barcode scanner, removable battery, possibility of wireless printing and NFC technology in a rugged format to withstand bumps and falls. Besides, una docking station con puertos USB, VGA and Ethernet provide connectivity to a wide variety of peripherals, even when the battery is charging.

The 10” LCD display integrates projected capacitive touch technology (PCAP) multi-touch (up to four simultaneous touches), with a resolution of 1,366×768, format 16:9, shine of 355 nits, contrast ratio 800:1, response time 25 ms, with an estimated durability of 50.000 hours.

This intuitive and secure platform also features centralized Windows security and management capabilities., RAM memory (DDR3 – 1066 MHz) of 2 GB and storage (MSATA SSD) of 32 GB, speaker, power adapter and different accessories (bracket VESA, stylus or additional battery) to adapt to any retail application need.
