DPI starts production of Titan WUXGA LED 3D, the first DLP projector 3 chips with LED lighting
After two years of development and testing in the market, Digital Projection International (DPI) The first DLP projector is already in production 3 chips with LED lighting so far on the market, which is marketed during the current month of December.
Digital Projection International (DPI) together with Texas Instruments have developed the Titan WUXGA LED 3D projector, to date the first three-chip DLP device with LED lighting on the market, which is officially presented at I/ITSEC 2013, of the 2 al 5 next December, in orlando (USA).
Titan WUXGA LED 3D is especially suitable for simulation and virtual reality projects that require high illumination and color accuracy, with the minimum cost in its consumables and energy consumption. Therefore it offers a luminosity of 2.000 lumens and provides more than 60.000 hours of constant lighting, and virtually maintenance free.
The resolution of 1920×1.200 (WUXGA) Titan LED 3D is based on three DLP chip technology from Texas Instruments, which in addition to greater color accuracy provides faster signal processing.
For simulation applications that require augmented reality capabilities, DPI has developed a version of this projector (LED + AND) with dual input control, allowing simultaneous viewing and control of two video streams at the same time.
