The new network architecture is based on a multi-platform and wireless system deployed in the company's factories and offices, that unifies and improves communications, makes it easy to connect any device to the network, at any time and place in a controlled and safe way. Grupo Consentino's inventory solution is managed through this platform that, having been standardized, allows the company to launch a headquarters anywhere in the world in less than a month.

Another part of the project focuses on the company's decision to build a second data center, located in the North American city of Houston, that would complete the one in Madrid, with the aim of providing service to all its headquarters. After consolidating and virtualizing the servers using Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) as a computing platform, virtualization software VMware and storage solutions EMC, applications were migrated, and in a period of just three months the company managed to meet its greater security objectives, ease of management and high availability of your data centers.

Videoconferencing and telepresence

Cisco's collaboration architecture is based on the deployment of 2.000 IP phones on a global scale, as well as videoconferencing and telepresence systems in the main offices of Grupo Consentino.
