Sony Ultra Short Throw Project turns any surface into a 4K screen

The Ultra Short Throw Projector has been introduced by Kaz Hirai, CEO of Sony, in Las Vegas within the framework of CES 2014 that today closes its doors. This projector is capable of turning any surface into a 4K screen by projecting the images through a diode laser source.. According to Hirai, The projector can be used to create a kind of virtual window “turning any wall into a screen”.
Sony has presented this equipment as part of a complete solution that it has called Life Space UX that integrates an interactive table-projector, an interactive metal wall panel, a small projector for the ceiling and this 4K projector. The latter will be available this summer in the United States and its price will be around 40.000 dollars.
