The manufacturer of HD video surveillance solutions, Avigilon Corporation, has signed an agreement to acquire the video analysis solutions business of the firm VideoIQ for 32 million dollars.

Founded in 2006, VideoIQ, based in Billerica (Middlesex, Massachusetts) has focused its activity on the development of real-time video analysis solutions for business intelligence and security. Con 23 patents granted and another twenty pending acceptance, its technology includes live detection, event verification and instant notification with self-learning capabilities.

AvigilonAvigilon has signed a contract to acquire 32 million dollars the video analysis solutions business of the North American company VideoIQ by 32 million dollars.
